Michelle Lai
Michelle qualified from Brunel University and has nearly two decades extensive clinical experience having worked in various senior positions in top London teaching hospitals within the NHS and in the private sector. She is an experienced AACP-accredited clinical acupuncturist and an advanced Pilates instructor and was awarded a post-graduate diploma in orthopaedic medicine.
She works closely with some of London’s most esteemed orthopaedic surgeons, and treats a wide variety of post-surgical orthopaedic and spinal patients.
As a keen runner herself, she is an expert in sports injury rehabilitation and has treated many high-profile, world-class, athletes who represent Great Britain at international level, including the London 2012 Game.
She co-founded PhysioQinetics with Dr Chai with a strong belief in a manual treatment approach and instilled a clinic ethos that there is no substitute to experienced hand-on skills in injury rehabilitation.
Outside of her busy lead role in the clinic, Michelle is also a prolific baker who enjoys making a wide variety of cakes and desserts.
